Paying With Your Balance and Topping Up Your Account

What is the account balance?

The account balance (wallet) is money you deposit in advance on your RE:HOST account, which you can use to pay invoices without re-entering card details. The balance belongs to the account, not to an individual user — if several team members work on one account, the balance is shared between them.

How to top up your balance

  1. In the dashboard's top bar, click the balance field (or the "+" button next to it).
  2. In the window that opens, enter the amount you want to add — at least 5 and at most 10,000 (in your account's currency).
  3. Click "Top Up via QuickPay" — you will go to the QuickPay page, where you can pay by card, bank transfer or another available method.
  4. Once the payment is confirmed, the amount is added to your balance automatically and is available to use immediately.

The same form is also available in the mobile menu, in the profile section.

Paying an invoice with your balance

Every unpaid invoice has two buttons: "Pay Now" (card, bank transfer and more — through QuickPay) and "Use Account Balance". If your balance holds enough money in the same currency as the invoice, clicking "Use Account Balance" pays the invoice immediately, with no further confirmation.

If the balance is not enough

If the balance does not cover the invoice, the system shows a message and the payment is not made — partial payment from the balance is not possible. In that case, top up the balance by the amount you need (see above) and try again, or simply pay the invoice directly with the "Pay Now" button.

Keep in mind that the balance is stored separately for each currency — a top-up is made in the currency currently selected for your account. If an invoice is issued in another currency, you cannot use a balance held in a different currency to pay it.

Auto-renewal and the balance

If auto-renewal is turned on for a service, the system first tries to pay the renewal invoice from your account balance. If the balance is not enough, the invoice stays unpaid and you will receive a notification so you can pay it manually.

Transaction history

Every top-up and deduction is listed on Dashboard → Wallet transactions — you will see the date, amount and description of each operation.

Who can manage the balance

Only team members who have the Billing permission on the account can top up the balance and pay with it. If these buttons are disabled or missing for you, contact the account owner or an administrator.
